Design notes

Our reading is that The Everforger makes card category the organizing principle for a colorless commander. Its broad selection is checked by a narrow payoff: the list still needs artifact creatures or Equipment worth copying. We would choose a coherent mix of bodies and Equipment rather than read the permission as access to every artifact. The once-per-turn limit also makes sequencing part of the build's identity.

Deckbuilding priorities

We would choose eligible spells by how useful they are both alone and as the turn's copy target. Esper Sentinel is a white artifact creature, while Baleful Strix is a blue-black artifact creature whose entry draws a card; both fit the artifact-creature exception despite the commander being colorless. Copying Baleful Strix can repeat that entry reward, while Cranial Plating qualifies through the Equipment exception even though its activated ability gives it black color identity. We would use that mix of bodies and Equipment to make the once-per-turn copy choice matter, rather than read the permission as access to every colored artifact.
